The Amgen Tour of California went down last week. We went to Thousand Oaks to watch the finish of stage 6. It was cool to see all of the teams and some pro racers. The peloton speed was amazing. They were flying.
The weather sucks right now. All rainy and windy. I was hydroplaning all over the freeway on the way home. At one point on a long uphill stretch I couldn’t go faster than 45 mph, any more throttle and the front wheels would spin! A few times I went for it and spun the wheels for about 10 seconds at 50 mph!!
I got the flu bug. This isn’t your ordinary flu bug, this is the spawn of satan. I had every symptom on this list. It all started 8 days ago and I am just now starting to feel alive again. I had brutal shivers one night for 6 hours non-stop. I thought I was done. Then I had a 102 degree fever. Looking back now the last 5 days have been a blur of bad sleep, coughing up phlegm, chills, fever, aches, etc. I am almost normal again. On a scale of 1-10 I am feeling around a 6 today. Tomorrow I will be a high 7 I think. This flu bug is pure evil.
HDTV rules. We watched the Grammys tonight in HD. It looked great! Sly Stone was a highlight of the show. He walked off stage before his song was finished. Ok.
The stupidity of religious imbeciles continues, read all about it here. At first I thought this was a joke, maybe it is.
If you havn’t heard of our current presidential administration’s attempts to censor reports from NASA I think you will. Check this out first. Ok, now read this site’s details on George Deutsch. Way to go Bush!!!
This afternoon at work I was taking some photos of new products we are marketing. As I finished up I glanced out the window and noticed two cops running from their cruiser with some huge rifles. They were looking serious. They ran to a hotel that is next to the suites we work in. Wild. I went outside a little while later and there were at least 4 to 5 cars pulling up to the scene. I am not sure what happened. Maybe it will be in the news.
