This is a photo I took while blasting east on the 10 heading to Tucson. This is about 2 hours west of Phoenix looking north.
If you want to see some cornball photo action from SoCal check this one out. Loads of pics of people on the street wearing all sorts of bad style.
I hauled the family down, well, over to Arizona for a visit at my sister’s house in Corona de Tucson. We had a big ass dinner at a Mexican Restaurant in Green Valley with brother-in-law’s sister and her family. We had a great time hanging out in southern AZ. It was monsoon season so the heat and humidity were on. The annual Avila Family Reunion went down in Chandler AZ. My cousin Steve and his family were kind enough to host the party. We all had a great time. Next year we are heading to Utah for the dealio. That is going to be sweet.
I replaced the power steering pump on our Ford Windstar today. It was a pain in the neck, back, hand, arm, leg, etc. Now I have discovered that the rack and pinion has sprung a leak which I think is the cause of the power steering pump going out in the first place. Crap.
I took the family up to South Lake Tahoe for a week of vacation. It was great. We stayed in a condo near the Heavenly Stagecoach lift. I got in 2 killer mtb rides on the Tahoe Rim Trail. We did so much in a week. River rafting, swimming in the lake, eating, the Heavenly Gondola, shopping, too much! My wife and kids were fried when we got back home. We even got in a bowling tournament. I was able to pull off a stunning victory. I got to bring home the highly coveted cow trophy plus I get to keep the glory until next year. As an added bonus I attended my friends bachelor party and my 20 year high school reunion. It was a packed 9 days!
Floyd Landis – dang dude, whats up?
