This was on Comedy Central. Scott Richter the high volume emailer gets interviewed.

This is a great photo. So many interesting elements.

My boy can ride! I did it at 3 years old and so did he. Man, I am stoked!

Wow – what a weekend. First off the weather sucked. It was cloudy, windy, and too cold to have much fun on our camp trip with family. I did however get to enjoy the thrill of seeing my boy at the ripe age of 3 years old ride a bike without training wheels for the first time. On Sunday at the campground we were letting the kids ride around. It was just a bit too cold to comfortably ride without long fingered gloves so the kids had socks on their hands in place of gloves. JP wanted to me to take his training wheels off. At first I figured this was going to be a quick deal and he would want the training wheels back on. Not quite. I gave him a little push and watched as he easily rode about 20 feet and made a right turn and gently fell over. Immediately we all got our cameras + video and readied him for the next run. It was awesome. He went for it and rode in a giant circle and stopped. He was completely doing it! I found some campground debris and marked off a course for him to ride around. It was sweet – he rode around for at least two hours and then we had a break. After the break he wanted to go some more so I went with him and helped him get started around the campground again. A few other boys were in the area and came over to ride, and crash, with JP. They had a great time and all was well.

CNN posted a front webpage story titled, ” iReporters change lifestyles to dodge hefty gas bills” today that featured a good bit of info on changing your habits and avoiding driving. Like the crafty marketer that I am I quickly fired off a post to the comments board and received a nice spike in traffic to my SuperMiler.com site. The tips and tricks I put up on Super Miler really do work. I had to fill up today and I got just over 36 mpg from that tankful of gazz-o-line.

It’s a sad fact that gas prices are sky-rocketing to their highest prices ever. I drove past a Thrifty (yeah, right) station on Balboa and Rinaldi today in the SFV and the 87 regular was $4.18 per gallon. What? Am I seeing things? Less than 4 miles away at Desoto and Devonshire 87 regular is $3.99 at Chevron. Well, have no fear gas lovers. This site takes driving and conserving to a new level. I have personally started using the methods described on Super Miler and have saved a full tank of gas this month. I am the most skeptical person – believe me – I don’t believe it unless I can see it and I can honestly tell you that the techniques work. Try it now and save $$$.

Man, the Lakers were down 20 points in the 3rd and came back to win it. This should be an awesome series.

Looks like Mr. Weather dot com is forecasting the first triple digit temperature of the year. 100 F is on tap for tomorrow. Should be a good time. I will be moving rocks into my backyard. The yard project is nearing completion. We’re on a roll now.

Turns out the tweak I made to the CSS looks fine in Firefart and IE, but not in Safari. Great. Just what I needed to make my day complete.

Some of you sharp eyed villains may notice a new tweak to the site…any guesses? Can’t see anything different? Well, I added 125 px to the width of the main post area in the CSS which now allows me to post 500 px wide images from flickr without piling the right side of the image into column 2. Exciting stuff. j/k. This modded layout even looks good on my old ass laptop – COMPAQ Armada M300.
